Life Through My Eyes

When I thought about what to write in my first blog it came to me why I never wrote books for a career, though my mom told me I would have been great at it, but the truth is, I suck at details. I can sit up at night burning through tons of topics at high speed, playing over every detail of something that happened, or could happen. And I will torture myself with detail after detail, but as a foreshadow to my blog, you should know, it will not be detailed. The truth is, I'm a loud mouth, I just needed a place to spill my opinions. It will be about anything and everything, the way I see it of course!
 Where to start?
I may not have become an author for a living but I work at Walt Disney World which, in my opinion, is pretty awesome. I've been there for a little over two years now and although it's hard work, it has its bad days, the pay isn't the best and sometimes all my coworkers do is complain about the place, I love it. Don't get me wrong I have bad days there too and sometimes the guests make me so mad! But when I get to watch the fireworks from Big Thunder Mountain or get to ride the ride with my coworkers after a long shift at Splash Mountain, I think to myself how lucky I am. As a little girl I would go to Disneyland with my family and dream about working there, I would get that fuzzy feeling that everything really was as magical as it is at Disney. Even now, as an adult, I still get caught up in the magic when I see a character doing a meet and greet that I haven't seen yet, or when I get to watch the Christmas parade in front of Country Bear Jamboree doing crowd control, because then its Disney and Christmas all in one! Even though my dreams as a little girl strayed to so many other things along the way, and I don't know where life will take me in the future, I think I'm right where I'm supposed to be. And what's life without a little magic?

Quick random things to leave you with:
While I'm writing this blog I'm also watching Alice in Wonderland (the Tim Burton one), and reading InStyle magazine.
My favorite trend this fall: Sweaters, every different kind! I need to live somewhere colder!
